Barton L. Post, Esquire is the founder of the law firm, Post & Schell, PC. which has grown from a one-man operation in 1968 to a firm of approximately 150 lawyers and a total of approximately 400 personnel. Joseph F. Brady is a graduate of LaSalle University and has received the designations of Casualty Claim Law Associate and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter. He has over 35 years of malpractice claims experience working for such carriers as Argonaut (medical society recommended carrier) and Employers of Wausau (recommended carrier for Pennsylvania Hospital Association). He has worked as an adjuster; supervisor; claim manager and division claim manager responsible for all liability claim operations supervising five offices, Philadelphia , Newark , Baltimore , Syracuse and Boston . His experience in handling and supervising claims and claim personnel is extensive. He helped create and direct Professional Casualty Association to a strong financial position over the past 4 years. Now PCA is recognized for both excellent service and commitment in defending the doctors from frivolous law suits.
Lana K McCaulley is a graduate of Mansfield University and has over 32 years experience in underwriting with 20 years experience in malpractice underwriting. She has worked for Hulse Associates Inc. and PHICO Insurance Co. as an underwriter, underwriting manager and Director of Underwriting operations. She is experienced directing underwriting operation for physicians, business owners and healthcare professionals.
Michael F. Grill is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science and has over 30 years of accounting experience. He has worked as an insurance accountant for 23 years for Penn Treaty American Corporation where he served as Treasurer and Controller. He has vast experience in investments and money management, filing the required financial reports and working with reinsurers.
Douglas R. Fahringer, Esquire is a cum laude graduate of Wilkes College and The Dickinson School of Law. He has ten years litigation and trial experience with the law firm, O'Brien & Ryan, where he successfully defended physicians and other healthcare providers in the Commonwealth. Thereafter, as Claim Supervisor with the Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association, he managed the medical claim department and supervised defense counsel handling claims of insolvent medical malpractice insurance companies. He has 20 years combined experience specializing in legal, medical and insurance issues.
James Gillespie, Jr. is a graduate of Hampton Institute and has completed a course study at The College of Insurance in New York City. He has over 33 years of underwriting and brokerage experience, having worked for both Continental and AIG Insurance companies, as well as Johnson & Higgins, Alexander & Alexander, Aon and Commerce Insurance Services. In each of his brokerage capacities, he has either developed and/or managed substantial healthcare practices, responsible for production, client service and program design and marketing.
